People's Courts is located next to the Coquitlam Recreation Centre in Civic Centre Park, five minutes east of Lougheed Mall between Como Lake Avenue and Austin Avenue @ Foster Avenue and Poirier Street. The club began operation in 1995 and currently has over 300 members. People's Courts provides a number of membership options including pay and play.

The Club has five indoor hard courts housed year round in a bubble with a high output lighting system. There are also two outdoor hard courts which are available for play year round and are used for club programs during the spring and summer. The People's Courts clubhouse has an upstairs viewing lounge, a Fitness Centre, change rooms with showers and lockers and a members kitchen.

The Club Tennis Academy Programs are increasingly becoming a major launching pad for those talented players seeking Provincial, National and International Titles. Also, a variety of tennis instructional programs are offered for players of all ages and ability levels by tennis high performance director, Dimitri Penchev and his team of tennis professionals, Hassan Askari (coaching director), Shayan Mirhosseini (high performance), Graeme Kassautzki, Alireza Eshaghzadeh, Joan Jones, Khalid Ahmed, Katie Brien, Sirus Vakilian and Julien Heine (College Placement Advisor).
